Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Product Owner - Payments with a strong background in payment systems, technical analysis, and stakeholder collaboration. The ideal candidate will have hands-on technical exposure, deep domain knowledge in payments, and the ability to lead deliverables independently while working with global offshore teams.

Key Responsibilities

Act as a Product Owner for payment-related applications and initiatives
Collaborate with business stakeholders, development, and QA teams to define and deliver product requirements
Write and analyze SQL / Oracle queries for data validation, issue analysis, and reporting
Perform analysis and troubleshooting using AWS logs, databases, and Splunk
Ensure product alignment with payment standards and wire formats (ISO)
Lead deliverables end-to-end with minimal supervision
Support production issues, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement
Communicate effectively with offshore teams across time zones

Required Skills & Qualifications

10+ years of overall experience in Product Owner / Product Management / Business Analysis roles
Strong payments domain experience (Banking, Financial Services, FinTech)
Hands-on experience with:
- SQL / Oracle queries
- AWS logs and monitoring tools
- Splunk or similar log analysis tools
Solid technical background in development and/or QA
Good understanding of ISO wire formats and payment messaging
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work independently and lead initiatives with minimal guidance

Nice to Have

Experience supporting payment platforms or transaction processing systems
Exposure to production support environments
Prior experience working in distributed or offshore team models
