Job Title: DevOps Engineer LaunchDarkly | AWS | LPL
Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid 3 Days Onsite Preferred; Remote Considered)
Type: 6+ Month Contract
About the Role
We are urgently seeking a DevOps Engineer with strong hands-on experience in LaunchDarkly to join our team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in modern DevOps practices, with expertise in AWS environments, CI/CD, and feature flagging solutions.
This is a 6+ month contract with high potential for extension. While remote work is possible, the hiring manager strongly prefers candidates who can work on-site 3 days per week in Charlotte, NC.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and manage LaunchDarkly feature flagging for deployment strategies and release management.
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines supporting application deployments across AWS environments.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to optimize delivery and ensure smooth releases.
- Manage cloud infrastructure in AWS, ensuring scalability, security, and high availability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve environment, deployment, and pipeline issues.
- Contribute to automation initiatives and DevOps best practices.
Required Skills
- Proven hands-on experience with LaunchDarkly (feature flagging, rollout strategies, integrations).
- Strong AWS cloud expertise (infrastructure, services, deployment).
- Solid DevOps engineering background, including CI/CD, automation, and configuration management.
- Familiarity with common DevOps tools and practices (Git, Jenkins, Terraform, etc.).
