Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Virtual Help Desk Technician to provide remote technical support to our clients. The ideal candidate will troubleshoot hardware and software issues, assist users with technical inquiries, and ensure timely resolution of IT problems in a virtual environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Respond promptly to user inquiries via email, chat, or remote support tools.
Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues remotely.
Install, configure, and update computer systems, applications, and peripherals.
Maintain detailed records of support requests and resolutions in the ticketing system.
Provide guidance and training to users on best practices and system usage.
Escalate complex issues to appropriate technical teams when necessary.
Monitor system performance and perform routine maintenance tasks.
Stay updated on new technologies and support procedures.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in a help desk or technical support role.
Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and common software applications.
Familiarity with remote support tools and ticketing systems.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple support requests efficiently.
