Overview

Credence Management Solutions, LLC (Credence) is seeking a IT operations Lead (Senior) to support DLA's PIEE Program Manageent Office and ensure that IT operations run smoothly on day-to-day basis.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below

IT Operations Lead - Primary Job Functions & Responsibilities :
  • Mon itor production environment for 24/7 availability and respond to any unplanned downtime.
  • Identify and resolve any customer reported issues in a timely manner
  • Manage day-to-day operational activities for completeness and adherence to applicable regulatory and customer requirements.
  • Apply knowledge and experience with database technologies, development methodologies, and programming languages to understand and address business challenges
  • Analyzes and resolves end user operational issues including application issue, connectivity issues, process issues etc
  • Coordinate with other teams to remediate vulnerabilities and mitigate risks and ensures the implementation of appropriate security settings to include those required by DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG).
  • Coordinate and provide support for EDI application interfaces with external partners using best practice approaches and processes
  • Lead client meetings to solve complex problems on technical and functional front
  • Establish and maintain communication within organization and with clients/partners
  • Evaluate new and existing software products, perform feasibility analysis and advise on selection of technological purchases for application modernization
  • Develop architectural products and deliverables for the enterprise and operational business lines.
  • Develop/maintain operating procedures for day-to-day activities as well as complex business problems.
  • Develop/maintain security policies, practices, and guidelines and track security and compliance issues.
  • Apply advanced technical knowledge of application networking, load balancing, high availability and fault tolerance.
  • Document existing operations and practices using industry best practices
  • Generate ad-hoc reports using complex queries based on customer requests
  • Review architecture DoDAF artifacts for accuracy and completeness
  • Coordinate with multiple teams and oversee production deployment of projects and releases
  • Create flow charts & diagrams to depict high level application architecture


Education, Requirements and Qualifications

  • Minimum ten (10) years relevant IT experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or related field
  • Must possess IT-II security clearance or have a current National Agency Check with Local Agency Check and Credit Check (NACLC) at time of proposal submission
  • Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority
  • DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification: Category IAT Level II
  • DLA CE Cert IA Role/Function: TBD at the Task Order Level

Preferred Qualifications :

  • AWS Cloud Certification
  • Experience with various programming languages like Java, Python etc
  • Experience in agile and hybrid low-code/no-code application development
  • Experience with Web Services and application programming interfaces (APIs)
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS) for web applications
  • Experience working with DoD/DLA applications and familiarity with Federal Acquisition
  • Understandng of DevOps, DevSecOps and micro-services model utilizing industry best practices
  • Experience with COTS and open source solutions to automate the creation, deployment, and management of CI/CD pipeline.
  • Good understanding of web component applications, XML, XSD, SOA etc
  • Ability to write/modify Unix shell scripts
  • Oracle database administration skills, including SQL Scripting


Working Conditions and Physical Requirements

Occasional travel to Vienna, VA or DLA HQ (Ft Belvoir) may be needed.
