Position: Configuration Testing BA/Tester
Location: Remote
Duration: 3+ months Contract
Job Description:
Description: Leading Health Insurance client is looking for experienced Configuration Testing BA/Configuration Tester for a long-term project.
Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze requirements submitted through ServiceNow to fully understand the requested changes and their impact.
- Assess testing requirements, defined scope, and identify detailed test scenarios to validate configuration accuracy.
- Leverage in-house tools to efficiently generate test claims, test providers, and authorizations, optimizing the testing process.
- Prepare extensive and varied test data to simulate a wide range of scenarios, ensuring thorough validation of requested changes.
- Create both positive and negative test claims, along with expected pricing in Excel, to identify gaps or discrepancies in the configuration.
- Document testing outcomes and prepare detailed reports for review and approval by relevant stakeholders.
- Collaborate with configuration business analysts and health plan teams to resolve any ambiguities or questions regarding requirements.
- Complete all configuration testing tasks within the defined SLAs, ensuring both accuracy and timely delivery.
- Track and log any defects, collaborate with the configuration team for resolution, and provide feedback to optimize future configurations.
- Engage in post-testing reviews to identify process improvements and ensure ongoing enhancements in testing effectiveness.
Experience and Skills:
- Proficient in using Amisys and DST Pricer applications.
- Skilled in reviewing and analyzing requirements related to ARQs, pricing, and benefits.
- Capable of evaluating various scenarios based on configuration requirement documents.
- Skilled in creating negative and corner-case scenarios based on requirements.
- Able to prepare test claims based on identified scenarios and executing them against the developed configurations.
- Experienced in using SQL to retrieve relevant data for generating test claims.
- Proficient in analysing claim results, identifying discrepancies, and working with cross-functional teams to resolve issues
