Job Details
We are seeking a strategic, results-oriented Project Leader to lead the evaluation, selection, and deployment of CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) and CRM solutions, with a strong focus on Salesforce.com and Epicor CPQ. This high-impact role involves managing the entire project lifecycle-from platform evaluation and vendor selection through to deployment-while engaging directly with executive stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
This role is REMOTE with some travel to Chamlin, MN once or twice per quarter.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end software selection and deployment for CPQ and CRM solutions.
- Evaluate and compare platforms (Salesforce.com, Epicor CPQ, and others); manage vendor assessments, demos, and selection.
- Collaborate with sales, IT, marketing, operations, and leadership to gather requirements and align strategy.
- Present solution options and recommendations to stakeholders, including C-level executives.
- Oversee project planning, timelines, resource management, and risk mitigation.
- Ensure successful deployment, integration, and user adoption of selected platforms.
- Drive change management and act as a strategic advisor on sales technology and process optimization.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience with Salesforce.com CRM and CPQ implementations, particularly Salesforce.com and Epicor CPQ.
- Strong background in enterprise software evaluation, vendor selection, and deployment.
- Experience with additional CPQ platforms (e.g., SAP CPQ, Oracle CPQ, etc.) is a plus.
- Familiarity with project management tools.
- Knowledge of systems integration, data migration, and software configuration best practices.
- Exposure to change management and user training strategies.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Agile/Scrum, Salesforce) preferred.
