Job Details

We are looking for a dynamic Sr. IT Analyst to join our remote team for a 12-month contract. This role involves managing and enhancing our macOS fleet, ensuring compliance, and leading various IT projects.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the management of macOS fleet needs, collaborating with managed service providers for effective project and task tracking.
  • Oversee the creation and resolution of tasks in project management tools, ensuring timely completion and progress tracking.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for advanced technical issues related to macOS, providing solutions and support for executive users.
  • Manage relationships with vendors, ensuring seamless integration and support for Apple Business Manager and related services.
  • Design and implement migration strategies for MDM configurations, minimizing user disruption.
  • Maintain and report on encryption states and compliance of company devices, ensuring security standards are met.
  • Identify and implement process improvements for device and MDM configurations, enhancing efficiency and documenting procedures.
  • Research and test new macOS releases, ensuring alignment with security and company policies.
  • Plan and execute upgrades to macOS versions, coordinating with global users to ensure smooth transitions.
  • Collaborate with security teams to enforce new features and policies for macOS updates.
  • Maintain security posture through automated vulnerability reporting and adherence to industry benchmarks.
  • Coordinate with procurement teams to update and standardize macOS hardware purchases and accessories.

Skills

  • Proficiency in managing macOS environments and related technologies.
  • Strong understanding of MDM solutions and configuration management.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, particularly in complex technical scenarios.
  • Experience in vendor management and collaboration.
  • Ability to design and implement efficient processes and improvements.

Preferred Skills

  • Jamf certification or equivalent experience in macOS management.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages such as Bash or Python.
  • Experience with project management tools, particularly Jira.
  • Knowledge of security standards and compliance requirements.
  • Experience in a corporate environment utilizing Apple Business Manager and related services.
