Job Details

Key Responsibilities

Oracle Fusion Financials Expertise

  • Lead end-to-end implementations, enhancements, and upgrades of Oracle Fusion Financial modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, Tax, Expenses).

  • Configure core financial setups including COA, payment terms, approval workflows, accounting rules, and tax configurations.

  • Drive automation and process efficiency across invoice processing, vendor payments, inventory valuation, and reporting.

  • Work with 3rd-party financial supply chain tools (Highradius, Blackline, TM1, Concur, Kyriba, Vertex, etc.).

Wholesale Distribution & Supply Chain Alignment

  • Align financial system capabilities with key distribution functions (inventory valuation, landed cost, rebates, vendor funding, and margin analysis).

  • Partner with supply chain and inventory teams to ensure financial accuracy across O2C and P2P cycles.

  • Support compliance, reporting, and analytics for distribution-specific metrics such as gross margin by SKU and freight allocation.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external consultants to deliver scalable and sustainable financial solutions.

  • Lead workshops, UAT, training, and knowledge-transfer sessions for finance and operations teams.

Governance & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and internal audit requirements.

  • Maintain documentation for configurations, test scripts, SOPs, and change management processes.

  • Support continuous improvement and other duties as assigned.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Information Systems.

  • 7+ years of Oracle ERP experience, including 3+ years working with Oracle Fusion Financials.

  • Proven experience in wholesale distribution or manufacturing environments.

  • Strong understanding of financial processes, cost structures, and distribution finance.

  • Expertise in:

    • Oracle Fusion Financials (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM, Tax, Expenses)

    • Distribution finance (inventory costing, rebates, freight, vendor funding)

    • SQL, OTBI, BI Publisher, Smart View

    • Fit-gap analysis, functional design, testing, user training

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Oracle Cloud Financials certification preferred.

  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus.
