Entry-Level IT Support / Tech Support Specialist

Location: On-site - Wappingers Falls, NY (5 days/week)
Schedule: 35 hours/week - flexible hours available
Pay Range: $20-$22/hour
Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire

Whether you're a graduate, someone who's just earned an IT certification, or a student currently in school, this role offers hands-on experience, mentorship, and exposure to enterprise-level tools and environments. You'll be providing remote support to field technicians and customers, helping ensure critical systems stay online and operational.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Deliver first-level technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues (Windows OS, Office 365, VPN, etc.)
  • Assist with onboarding/offboarding tasks including account setup and equipment provisioning
  • Provide remote support to field techs and customers across the organization
  • Log and manage support requests using ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems
  • Escalate complex issues to senior engineers or specialized teams
  • Maintain a professional, customer-focused approach in all interactions

What You Bring

  • A recent IT certification (Google IT Support or CompTIA A+ preferred) or recent graduation from a tech-related program
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills
  • Ability to work on-site 5 days a week
  • A growth mindset and eagerness to learn
  • U.S. Citizenship (required due to client requirements)

Nice-to-Haves (Not Required)

  • Internship or help desk experience
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow or other ticketing systems
  • Experience supporting remote users or working in a corporate IT setting

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
