Piper Companies is looking for a Telecommunications Mechanic to join a DoD government contractor. This is a full-time job based in either Everett, WA or Whidbey Island, WA.

Essential Duties of the Telecommunications Mechanic:
- Operate and maintain government-owned telephony switches.
- Perform troubleshooting and repair of switches.
- Perform software updates and patching.
- Perform installation and configuration of switch hardware.
Qualifications of the Telecommunications Mechanic:
- Must be able to obtain and maintain an active Secret clearance.
- 2-5+ years of related experience in telecom and fiber optics.
- Experience with Avaya systems highly preferred.
- IAT Level II certs highly preferred.
Compensation for the Telecommunications Mechanic:
- $70,000 to $85,000 (based on experience)
