RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Chicago, IL that is seeking a UX Designer.
Summary:
We're looking for a Senior UX Designer to help lead the design and definition of digital experiences across web and mobile platforms. This role will focus on creating intuitive, engaging, and accessible interfaces while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions. The UX Designer will work on complex design challenges, applying human-centered design principles to improve customer experiences and influence product strategy. Responsibilities:
* Translate user needs and business requirements into compelling design solutions
* Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups for web and mobile applications
* Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders throughout the design process
* Apply and evolve design systems, ensuring consistency across products
* Conduct usability testing and iterate based on feedback
* Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders and leadership
* Mentor junior designers and contribute to team knowledge sharing
REQUIREMENTS:
* 5+ years of professional UX design experience (senior level)
* Strong portfolio showcasing shipped products and features that solve complex problems
* Expertise in interaction design, visual design, and responsive design principles
* Mastery of Figma (components, variants, prototyping, branching)
* Solid understanding of user-centered design methods and accessibility standards (WCAG 2.2 AA)
* Experience working in agile/scrum environments and collaborating with developers
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Nice to Have:
* Master's degree in UX Design or related field
* Motion design and advanced prototyping skills
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
