Job Title: Senior PMO / PPM Consultant Financial Services
Location: Jersey City, NJ 07310 (Occasional visit might be needed)

Job Details:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior PMO/PPM Consultant to lead enterprise-level project and portfolio management initiatives within the financial services sector. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in PMO setup, IT governance, and Agile delivery, with deep expertise in implementing PPM tools and driving transformation programs for banking, credit unions, and financial institutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement PMO/PPM frameworks tailored for financial organizations.
- Manage portfolio, program, and project delivery for regulatory compliance, risk management, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Lead process reengineering and change management to optimize IT and business operations.
- Implement and configure PPM solutions such as ServiceNow Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM), Broadcom Clarity PPM, PlanView, and HP PPM.
- Oversee ITSM/ITIL-based service operations and governance frameworks for financial systems.
- Deliver Agile project management solutions using Jira, ServiceNow ITBM, and other tools.
- Provide financial management and reporting for large-scale programs using Power BI, Tableau, and other analytics platforms.
- Ensure compliance with IT Security Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) standards and financial regulations.
- Facilitate executive workshops, stakeholder engagement, and strategic planning sessions.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in PMO/PPM leadership roles, preferably in financial services.
- Expertise in enterprise PMO setup, ITSM/ITIL frameworks, and Agile delivery.
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITBM/SPM, Clarity PPM, PlanView, and HP PPM.
- Strong knowledge of financial management, earned value management (EVM), and ERP integration.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance and risk management in financial institutions.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Agile Certified Professional (ICAgile) or equivalent.
- Experience with banking systems and financial compliance programs.
- Prior consulting experience with large banks or financial institutions.
