Job Title: IT Project Analyst, Data Intelligence
Location: Denver, CO / Remote
Duration: 12+ months

General Purpose of the Job

We are seeking a motivated Project Analyst to join our IT team. In this role, you will be a crucial part of the successful delivery of our technology projects. You will partner with Project Managers to drive the entire project lifecycle from initiation and planning through to execution, monitoring, and successful closure. Your contributions will ensure that our IT projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards, directly supporting Client's mission. This position is located in Denver, CO, with remote work options considered.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Project Execution & Support: Actively support the daily management of assigned projects, overseeing scope, change control, risks, action items, issues, and key decisions to ensure smooth progress.
  • Financial & Resource Tracking: Diligently track and report on team hours and project expenses, proactively identifying and escalating any invoicing issues to maintain budget integrity.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Research, collect, and analyze project data to track key metrics and generate insightful reports on budget status, forecasts, and other management requirements. Use this analysis to recommend opportunities for process improvements.
  • Meeting & Communication Facilitation: Facilitate productive team meetings and develop engaging, informative, and well-organized presentations to communicate project status and outcomes effectively to stakeholders.
  • Documentation & Technical Support: Provide essential support to Managers, Business Analysts, and Project Administrators in creating project concept documents, process flows, and project schedules.

Minimum Qualifications

  • A Bachelor s degree in a related field is required. An equivalent combination of education and progressively responsible work experience may be substituted.
  • 2-4 years of experience in a project support, coordination, or analytical role.
  • A solid understanding of IT systems and the project lifecycle.
Technical Skills:
  • Intermediate proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Demonstrated ability to create and maintain process flow documents.
  • Basic skills in developing and managing project schedules.
  • Working knowledge of MS Project, MS Access, and SharePoint is preferred.
