Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Systems Process Engineer to support a warehouse management system (WMS) build and implementation project. In this role, you will be responsible for testing user requirements, identifying system gaps, and helping improve overall system performance and usability. You will act as a bridge between IT, operations, and end users ensuring a seamless rollout of WMS solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the WMS build and implementation by testing user requirements and system functionality
- Execute test cases and scenarios to ensure system usability and efficiency
- Analyze warehouse operations to align system functionality with business processes
- Identify and document system gaps and suggest improvements to the IT build team
- Track testing progress, report issues, and provide status updates to key stakeholders
- Document findings and maintain clear records of test outcomes
- Deliver system demos and training sessions for stakeholders and users
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including IT and operations
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in process engineering, systems implementation, or related roles
- Hands-on experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Strong background in process improvement, testing, and project support
- Ability to interpret user requirements and translate them into actionable test cases
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration across teams
- Excellent documentation and reporting abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in logistics, supply chain, or warehouse operations
- Familiarity with structured testing methods and documentation tools
- Prior experience supporting WMS rollouts or system upgrades
Work Environment:
- This is a full-time onsite role based in Louisville, KY
- Work will involve interaction with IT teams, warehouse operations, and training users
