We re looking for an Arizona-based ManageEngine Implementation & Monitoring Architect (SME) to scope a project and potentially engage with our client. The role will lead the design, deployment, standardization, and training of ManageEngine Ops Manager Enterprise and Endpoint Central across multiple sites, ensuring alignment with engineering standards and operational goals.

Key responsibilities include developing reference architecture, lab validation, site alignment, performance baselines, event management integration, training/knowledge transfer, and documentation. Ideal candidates will have deep expertise in Ops Manager and Endpoint Central, strong knowledge of SNMP/MIBs and enterprise monitoring, experience with event management/alerting systems, and proven training and documentation skills.

Primary Objective: Lead the design, standardization, deployment, and training of ManageEngine Ops Manager Enterprise and Endpoint Central across multiple sites, ensuring alignment with engineering standards and operational goals.

Duties & Responsibilities

Ops Manager Enterprise

1. Develop Reference Architecture

• Design a standardized, scalable reference architecture for Ops Manager Enterprise using the Probe/Central model.
• Create detailed deployment guides and installation checklists tailored to SRP s environment.

1. Lab Deployment & Validation

• Deploy the reference architecture in SRP s lab environment.
• Validate functionality, performance, and integration with existing systems.

1. Site Alignment & Reconfiguration

• Revisit and realign Ops Manager deployments across 9 sites.
• Standardize configurations, especially for SNMP-only systems.
• Ensure proper MIB installation and configuration for consistent monitoring.

1. Performance Monitoring Baselines

• Define baseline performance metrics and alarm thresholds for core systems.
• Collaborate with performance engineers to fine-tune alerting strategies.

1. Event Management Integration (Phase 2/3)

• Identify critical alarms for integration with corporate event management systems.
• Plan for 24/7 automated ticket creation and escalation workflows.

1. Training & Knowledge Transfer

• Provide hands-on training during implementation phases.
• Address best practices and operational questions from SRP engineers.

1. Documentation

• Produce comprehensive documentation of the reference architecture.
• Ensure alignment with SRP s standard engineering documentation formats.

Endpoint Central

1. Develop Reference Architecture

• Create a standardized deployment model for Endpoint Central.
• Include step-by-step guides and installation checklists.

1. Lab Deployment & Validation

• Deploy and test the reference architecture in SRP s lab environment.

1. Training & Knowledge Transfer

• Conduct a best practices workshop and provide implementation training.
• Enable client engineers to manage and support the platform independently.

1. Documentation

• Document the reference architecture and deployment procedures.
• Ensure consistency with engineering documentation standards.

Preferred Skills & Experience

• Deep expertise in ManageEngine Ops Manager and Endpoint Central.
• Experience with SNMP, MIBs, and enterprise monitoring architectures.
• Strong documentation and training capabilities.
• Familiarity with enterprise event management and alerting systems.
• Ability to work across multiple sites and coordinate with diverse teams.
