Job Details

Key Responsibilities:

<> Release Planning & Coordination</>
  • Develop and maintain detailed release calendars, project plans, and timelines.
  • Manage multiple concurrent releases across testing, staging, and production environments.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Tech Leads, DevOps, QA, and Operations for seamless releases.
  • Lead Go/No-Go meetings, addressing last-minute risks or blockers.
  • Align release activities with broader organizational goals and windows.
<>Process Compliance & Documentation</>
  • Ensure adherence to SDLC and Change Management policies.
  • Maintain audit-ready documentation for compliance reviews and internal controls.
  • Participate in CAB (Change Advisory Board) meetings and secure approvals.
  • Create and maintain Release Notes, Implementation Plans, and supporting artifacts.
<>Deployment & Quality Assurance</>
  • Oversee release deployments, ensuring minimal downtime and high availability.
  • Work closely with Engineering & DevOps to enhance automation and pipeline efficiency.
  • Monitor post-release performance and address issues during the warranty/support period.
  • Promote and support Agile methodologies (Scrum & Kanban) to improve delivery cadence.

Experience & Skills:

<>Experience:</>
  • 6 8 years of experience in IT project/release management.
  • Hands-on experience with automated release management and CI/CD pipelines.
<>Essential Skills:</>
  • Strong leadership, collaboration, and decision-making skills.
  • Working knowledge of SDLC, Agile, and Change Management best practices.
<>Tools & Technologies:</>
  • CI/CD & Release Tools: GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps
  • Version Control: Git, GitHub
  • Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure
  • Collaboration & ITSM Tools: JIRA, Confluence, ServiceNow

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience coordinating large-scale releases in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Ability to drive continuous improvement initiatives across the release lifecycle.
  • Familiarity with warranty support processes, performance monitoring, and issue resolution.
  • Effective communication across technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Working Conditions:

  • Hybrid role based in Dallas, TX (as per company policy).
  • May require evening or weekend work for production releases.
