Senior Data Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize data solutions that enable advanced analytics and business intelligence. This role requires expertise in Azure Data Factory (ADF), ETL processes, and data pipeline development, along with strong proficiency in SQL Server and Python. The ideal candidate will also have intermediate experience with Snowflake and Power BI to support data integration and visualization needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelinesand ETL workflows using Azure Data Factory.
  • Implement robust data integration solutionsacross multiple sources and platforms.
  • Optimize and manage SQL Server databases, ensuring high performance and reliability.
  • Develop Python scriptsfor data transformation, automation, and advanced analytics.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver actionable insights.
  • Integrate data into Snowflakefor cloud-based storage and analytics.
  • Support Power BIdashboards and reports by ensuring data availability and quality.
  • Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Advanced proficiencyin:

o Azure Data Factory (ADF)

o ETL design and implementation

o Data pipeline architecture

o Data integration techniques

o SQL Server (complex queries, optimization, stored procedures)

o Python (data processing, automation)

  • Intermediate experiencewith:

o Snowflake (data warehousing concepts, query optimization)

o Power BI (data modeling, DAX basics)

  • Strong understanding of data modeling, data quality, and performance tuning.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Azure ecosystem(Data Lake, Synapse, etc.).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelinesfor data solutions.
  • Knowledge of cloud security best practices.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or related field.
  • 10 to 15 years of experience in data engineering.
