Job Description

Description (including, but not limited to):
  • Design and maintenance of both the hardware and software necessary for a computer network
  • Specialization in Local Area Networks (LANs)/Wide Area Networks (WANs), TCP/IP, virtual machines, and/or server/network infrastructure
  • Responsibility for installation, configuration and administration of network routers and switches
  • Responsibility for installation of cable, wiring and related equipment for telephony and data interfaces and systems with communications functions
  • Execution of disaster recovery / back up procedures and archiving procedures
  • Responsibility for performance tuning, capacity planning, database administration, and fault management
  • Manage daily helpdesk tickets and provide update on current tasks.
  • Provide inputs and participate in planning for the server and storage team.
  • Handling support tasks and related escalations.
  • Handling various requirement details from various business units, and documentation.
  • Handling Disaster Recovery steps for data centers that comprises of storage, compute, network and virtualization technologies.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of executing Disaster Recovery and Business continuity steps.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of Backup, VMWare, Windows Active Directory, Patching, Antivirus, Linux, and Cloud technologies.
  • Ability to handle verbal and written communication to both technical and non-technical groups.
Skills Required:
  • Experience with using ServiceNow to handle workflow and ticket request Required 7 Years
  • Experience executing Disaster Recovery and Business continuity steps. Required 7 Years
  • Experience with Backup, VMWare, Windows Active Directory, Patching, Antivirus, Linux, and Cloud technologies. Required 7 Years
  • Ability to handle verbal and written communication to both technical and non-technical groups. Required 7 Years
