We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Support Technician to provide direct and indirect logistical support to IT field support technicians and subject matter experts (SMEs) who service schools and administrative locations. This role involves managing IT assets, troubleshooting minor technical issues, supporting projects, and ensuring smooth operational support for educational and administrative facilities.
Scope of Work / Key Responsibilities:
Monitor support tickets for parts requests and promptly assign required parts
Pick up obsolete equipment from schools and administrative locations
Maintain inventory of IT parts (e.g., laptops, desktops, WYSE, interactive technology, etc.)
Order parts to ensure healthy inventory levels
Maintain and track assets in a database
Provide on-site project support to schools and other locations
Install Apple apps on devices as required
Troubleshoot and resolve minor wireless, network, switch, and printer issues
Escalate major issues to IT Infrastructure teams
Perform proactive support activities, including:
Checking computer labs and media centers
Updating Apple iOS on MacBook, iPad, and iPod carts
Installing and configuring AirWatch on mobile devices
Installing Windows updates and patches
Ensuring antivirus software is installed and running on all machines
Checking interactive whiteboards and projectors in classrooms
Update user and asset information in database as necessary
Inventory, validate, and report technology items, ensuring asset transfers are accurately captured
Follow established processes and provide feedback for improvements
Document all work performed in ticketing systems for audit and knowledgebase purposes
Maintain exceptional customer service posture at all times
Contract Duration:
Initial 2-week temporary assignment with transition to long-term contractor role
Annual extension option based on performance
Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum 2+ years of IT support or related experience (5+ years for Lead Techs)
A+ Certification required for Lead Technicians
Strong customer service and troubleshooting skills
Knowledge of IT security best practices
Microsoft Windows certification is a plus
Clean criminal record and ability to pass fingerprint background check
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Valid driver s license and reliable transportation required

Work Environment:
On-site role, primarily at the warehouse and at school district sites across the Atlanta metro area
Monday Friday, 8am 5pm (hours may vary slightly to align with school schedules)
Frequent travel required for equipment pick-up and drop-off
Leadership & Reporting:
Reports directly to the Asset Lead
Responsible for providing regular updates and meeting district-imposed deadlines
