Description
We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Desktop Support Administrator in Orem, Utah. As a Desktop Support Administrator, your main function will be to ensure the smooth operation of computer systems within our organization. You will work closely with other members of our infrastructure team to install and maintain software and hardware, as well as other digital tools. You will also monitor the performance of workstations and virtual desktops, ensuring that all hardware is functioning properly, identifying potential security threats, and resolving issues as quickly as possible.
Responsibilities:
Ensure hardware and software systems are running smoothly and efficiently
Collaborate with the infrastructure team to install and manage digital tools
Monitor the performance of workstations and virtual desktops
Identify and address potential security threats promptly
Resolve technical issues as they arise
Administer endpoint management solutions
Maintain workstation patching and printers, and print server
Address workstation vulnerabilities detected in security scans
Assist in managing virtual desktop infrastructure
Provide Tier 3 support and assist with other IT Infrastructure tasks and projects
Handle equipment inventory and ensure optimal system security
Utilize Microsoft support tools such as DNS, storage, and networking for efficient troubleshooting and support
Conduct network troubleshooting, ethernet, and IP configuration
Operate desktop imaging and endpoint security programs.
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a related role such as Desktop Support Administrator.
Proficient in Desktop Imaging, able to create, manage, and deploy system images for various computer models.
Strong knowledge of Endpoint Security, capable of managing and monitoring endpoint policy compliance.
Experience providing Tier 3 Support, including troubleshooting complex technical issues and providing user training.
Ability to manage Equipment Inventory, including tracking, maintenance, and replacement of IT assets.
