Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced SAP Data Quality Consultant with strong BODS (BusinessObjects Data Services) expertise to join a long-term, onsite engagement for a major data transformation project.
This individual will be responsible for driving data profiling, cleansing, transformation, and quality assurance using SAP Data Services.
Key Responsibilities: Design and implement data quality and data integration solutions using SAP BODS.
Perform data profiling, cleansing, and validation across large datasets.
Create and manage BODS jobs for ETL processes, data migration, and data quality checks.
Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and technical teams to understand data requirements.
Develop data quality reports and dashboards to monitor and track metrics.
Support data migration initiatives between legacy systems and SAP S/4HANA or ECC.
Troubleshoot and optimize ETL jobs for performance and accuracy.
Ensure data governance and best practices are adhered to throughout the project lifecycle.
Participate in workshops and provide documentation as needed.
Required Skills:
hands-on experience with SAP BODS (Data Services).
Strong expertise in data profiling, cleansing, standardization, and quality rules.
Experience in SAP Data Quality Transformations and Address Cleansing.
Proficient in SQL and relational database concepts.
Familiarity with SAP ECC or S/4HANA data structures.
Experience in large-scale data migration or transformation projects.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work onsite without relocation or travel assistance.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with SAP Information Steward or MDG.
Knowledge of industry data quality frameworks and standards.
Background in regulated industries (e.g., life sciences, manufacturing, or finance) is a plus.
