About the Role
Are you ready to join a fast-paced, innovative engineering team? This role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact, combining your software engineering and data science expertise to develop innovative solutions for our customers.

This position involves approximately 70% software engineering and 30% data science. You'll work with tools such as Go, TensorFlow, PostgreSQL, and Google Cloud Platform to create the intelligence powering our platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Solve complex problems using mechanistic and statistical approaches.
• Develop and implement new methods to optimize supply chains.
• Enhance logistics simulations and market optimization algorithms.
• Build predictive models for commodity demand, supply availability, estimated arrival times, and potential delays.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Expertise in deploying AI models with backend server languages like Go.
• Proficiency in machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, Keras, or PyTorch.
• Strong foundation in algorithms, optimization, reinforcement learning, and neural networks.
• Ability to work independently and solve problems efficiently.
• Experience with function/path optimization and algorithms like linear programming, BOBYQA, A* Search, or simulated annealing.
• Advanced degree in a quantitative field (e.g., computer science, mathematics, engineering).
