Job Details
Title: Disaster Recovery Business Analyst
Location: Phoenix, AZ (Hybrid preferred)
Experience Level: Mid-to-Senior Level (5 8 Years Total Experience)
Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Disaster Recovery Business Analyst to lead strategic documentation, testing, and implementation of enterprise-wide disaster recovery and business continuity initiatives. This role is pivotal in ensuring our IT systems remain resilient and recoverable in the face of disruption. You ll bridge the gap between business needs and technical infrastructure capabilities, working closely with internal teams and third-party vendors.
Must-Have Skills:
- 3+ years of direct IT Disaster Recovery experience
- 5+ years of IT infrastructure operations experience
- SQL proficiency for data analysis and QA support
- Familiarity with tools like Zerto, SQL AlwaysON, and Storage Replication
- Hands-on DR runbook creation and audits
- Proven ability to conduct stakeholder interviews and requirements gathering
- Knowledge of business continuity documentation and planning lifecycle
Preferred Skills:
- Certifications: CBCP, CBAP, PMP
- Familiarity with cloud-based DR solutions (AWS, Azure)
- Audit and compliance experience in DR/BCP
- Exposure to enterprise platforms like ServiceNow, JIRA, or Confluence
- Risk assessment and third-party risk evaluation
