SAP SD Consultant (Mid Senior Level)

Job Description
We are seeking an experienced SAP SD Consultant with 15+ years of SAP implementation experience (including S/4 HANA) for a client in Jacksonville, FL. This is an urgent requirement for candidates local to Jacksonville, FL or those based on the East Coast willing to travel Mon Thu each week.
The ideal consultant will have strong cross-functional expertise in SAP SD, SAP FI, and SAP MM, with a deep understanding of Finance and integration via interfaces and APIs. This role requires excellent hands-on configuration skills, functional workshop leadership, and the ability to work effectively in an onsite/offshore delivery model.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver hands-on SD and FI configuration in S/4 HANA.
Write detailed functional specifications for customizations.
Lead functional workshops with business SMEs to gather and validate requirements.
Collaborate with offshore functional and technical teams in an onsite/offshore model.
Provide strong documentation including process design documents, functional specs, test scripts, and configuration documentation.
Work closely with SMEs and technical developers to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
Required Skills & Experience
15+ years of SAP implementation project experience including S/4 HANA.
Strong cross-functional expertise in SAP SD, FI, and MM.
Hands-on SD and FI configuration experience is a must.
Strong knowledge of Finance, including integrations, interfaces, and APIs.
Experience writing functional specifications for custom developments.
Excellent communication skills ability to work with business SMEs and technical developers.
Proven ability to lead functional workshops and deliver client-facing solutions.
Experience in onsite/offshore model collaboration.
