SOFT's client located Remotely is looking for a Independent Validation & Verification ( IV&V ) Lead Test Engineer for a long term contract assignment.
B. Project Overview
Client needs a Test Engineer to serve in a consultant role for the separation effort between them and an another entity being acquired. The consultant will assist the client by reviewing and recommending improvements to testing activities, conducting independent verification and validation to ensure systems separation success, and confirming separated systems meet quality and operational requirements.
C. Basic Scope of Work
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Review and recommend improvements to testing artifacts that include test cases, scenarios, scripts, plans and configurations to verify that testing is conducted separately from the acquisitions systems and environments.
Engage with the newly acquired entity teams who participate in testing to validate that systems continue to meet their intended use.
Conduct testing which independently validates that the separated systems continue to meet intended use.
Perform targeted verification and validation testing to give client confidence in separation success.
D.EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems/Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or Business is required or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum 5-10 years of experience working in systems integration, enterprise IT migrations or large-scale system separation.
Experience with multi-stakeholder environments (vendors, integrators, internal teams, regulators)
Experience in independent testing and artifact review for compliance and performance verification.
