Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Business Analyst to support a high-impact Enterprise CRM initiative within a major university system. This advanced-level, remote-friendly position plays a critical role in identifying, documenting, and refining business requirements, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, and shaping strategic solutions for improved user experiences across academic and administrative functions. The role requires a strong foundation in business analysis, technical documentation, stakeholder engagement, and CRM systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to gather, analyze, and document business requirements
Conduct stakeholder analysis to define the scope, objectives, and impact of proposed business solutions
Facilitate requirements-gathering sessions using interviews, workshops, surveys, and document reviews
Analyze current business processes and document both current and future state workflows
Perform gap analysis between existing systems and proposed solutions
Support development and QA teams by providing clear, testable requirements and acceptance criteria
Contribute to change control procedures and collaborate with business units to ensure smooth transitions
Maintain artifacts using tools such as Azure DevOps; provide technical documentation as needed
Coordinate and communicate effectively with subject matter experts, technical teams, and leadership
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:
Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field (required)
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role, preferably within a large or complex organization
Proven track record working across departments and business functions to define technology-based solutions
Special Requirements:
Authorization to work in the United States
Ability to work during core hours in the Eastern Time Zone
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Proficiency with Azure DevOps or similar tools for backlog and requirements tracking
Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills
Strong understanding of business process modeling and gap analysis
Experience with requirements writing and technical documentation
Working knowledge of quality assurance principles and testing practices
Familiarity with change management and stakeholder engagement
Salesforce experience is a strong plus
