Job Title: Sr Data Architect
Location: Dallas, TX (Hybrid Local Candidates Preferred)
Duration: 12+ Months
Role Summary:
We're looking for a hands-on data leader to drive enterprise-wide data strategy, architecture, and governance. This role will shape scalable data frameworks, oversee core data platform design (DW, ODS, MDM), and align data solutions with business priorities. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to lead efforts in data standardization, transformation practices, and long-term data management planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead enterprise-level initiatives around data modeling, design, and integration
- Define and enforce data management policies across systems and teams
- Guide MDM implementation and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture
- Collaborate with engineering teams on efficient data movement, transformation, and replication
- Maintain documentation around data flows, lineage, and metadata standards
- Champion best practices for data design and scalability
- Mentor data professionals and promote standardization across data initiatives
Required Experience & Skills:
- 5+ years in data architecture across OLTP, DWH, and large-scale data ecosystems
- Strong experience in building MDM and data governance frameworks
- Familiar with data processing tools including ETL, APIs, OLAP, and Middleware
- Proven ability to lead solution architecture across business and technical teams
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present to executive stakeholders
