we are a Tier 1 vendor for the City and County of San Francisco for Cloud Services, Staffing Services and Training Services. Project Scope:
Sacramento County is seeking a journey level Business Analyst to work closely with the Community Development Agency to re-engineer their process workflows to create efficiencies and better serve the public. This position will work with various subject matter experts to create requirements and project documentation to support developing these features in the County permitting application, Accela.
Roles/Responsibilities:
- Elicit, develop, and document project requirements and technical specifications; analyze and organize them for clarity and action.
- Create meeting minutes, action items, next steps.
- Collaborate with developers to clarify requirements throughout the development cycle.
- Create software test plans and user guides.
- Conduct thorough quality assurance testing to ensure software system reliability and adherence to requirements.
- Train users on new and existing software systems to ensure optimal use and adoption.
- Provide input to the project manager on project documentation, including proposals, schedules, change requests, and closure reports

- Able to establish and meet deadlines.
- Able to effectively communicate equally well with customers, technical staff, management, and vendors.

- Able to interpret complex data and present it clearly to stakeholders
- Experience using Accela, or collaborating with an Accela development team or vendor is a plus.
- Experience working in or with a Community Development organization that deals with permits, inspections, and planning is a plus
