Position Overview:
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) with extensive experience managing enterprise-scale database environments. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in Oracle 19c, advanced performance tuning, and managing large databases across both on-premises and AWS platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer, monitor, and support Oracle 19c databases in RAC/ASM environments.
- Optimize database performance and resolve complex technical issues through in-depth analysis and tuning.
- Implement and manage partitioning strategies and support Very Large Databases (VLDBs).
- Administer and secure Oracle RDS instances in AWS, including scripting, automation, and infrastructure as code using CloudFormation Templates.
- Collaborate closely with development and infrastructure teams to support projects and ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and scalability.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in Oracle database systems administration, with expertise in Oracle 19c, RAC, and ASM.
- Hands-on experience in performance tuning and Oracle database optimization.
- Experience administering AWS RDS for Oracle, including automation, security, and CFTs.
- Working with Oracle Exadata, covering performance management, monitoring, and maintenance.
- Strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication abilities, with a collaborative approach to cross-functional teamwork.
