  • Provide engineering support and technical direction during the execution of the program's test phases, including test process development, architecture design, and test baseline management.
  • Participate in and contribute to technical reviews and technical interchange meetings throughout the program lifecycle.
  • Continuously assess readiness for launch and mission operations, ensuring alignment with test objectives and ground system integration goals.
  • Articulate identified integration challenges across ground system segments, translating technical issues into mission-level impacts.
  • Provide mission readiness assessments based on technical integration progress, risks, and interdependencies.
  • Communicate emerging risks and concerns to leadership and stakeholders, offering clear pathways for awareness and resolution.
  • Recommend defect prioritization across system segments to facilitate effective integration and the achievement of enterprise test objectives.

Qualifications You Must Have:
  • Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with ground architecture, focusing on system-level interfaces.
  • Experience with systems engineering lifecycles, roles, and functions, including operations concept development, requirements management, functional analysis/synthesis, interface definition and control, and/or verification and validation.
  • Development experience on a government contract.
  • Experience with Agile and/or DevSecOps development methods.

Qualifications We Prefer:
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication skills, particularly in translating complex technical issues into mission readiness impacts.
  • Experience in Satellite Command/Control, Mission Management, or Planning.
  • Proficiency with Agile tool sets (JIRA, Confluence, BitBucket, etc.).
  • Experience working with requirements in DOORS or other requirements databases.
  • Experience working in DevOps and/or DevSecOps in an Agile development environment.
