Length: 24 Months (with potential for extension or conversion)
Location: O Fallon, MO - Hybrid in office 3 days/week
Pay Range: $65-$75/hr on our W2 only (no C2C or 1099 or sponsorship)

The Transaction Security team develops new products for Client's fraud prevention platform. We protect cardholders / card issuers and aim to eradicate credit card fraud. Our industry-leading bastion of defense processes billions of transactions per month with execution times literally 10X faster than you can blink.
The Software Engineer will play a critical role in creating new product functionality within this platform including world-class backend and consumer-facing features.The Senior Software Engineer in Test will join the Security Solutions group, supporting the Payment Resiliency program as part of the Software Engineering Guild. This role will focus on test plans, manual testing, and test automation while contributing to a strong, collaborative team dedicated to safeguarding payment transactions and preventing fraud.

Technical Level: Advanced

Hands-on experience in UI development with Angular JS

Strong knowledge of software development processes (Agile)

Experience in multi-tier software solution design and development

Database expertise (Oracle, advanced SQL scripting)

Vendor/open source product integration experience

Experience leading small development teams and mentoring peers

Preferably professional experience in financial services, cards, or payments
Tasks & Responsibilities:

Participate in daily scrums and team meetings
-
Create and execute test plans, perform manual and automated testing
-
Ensure code design quality for enterprise applications
-
Design highly complex applications and integrations
-
Lead performance engineering of enterprise software architecture
-
Provide functional guidance and technical mentorship to team members
-
Perform code development, code review, and support activities
-
Research and evaluate tools for domain-specific needs
-
Develop technical work products and own solution design
-
Lead projects through full lifecycle (requirements, estimation, design, development, testing)

Define development strategy and gating criteria for production readiness
-
Ensure proactive monitoring practices are in place

Enhance and enforce coding guidelines/practices
-
Assist in resolving production incidents and problem tickets
