Job Description:

The selected candidate will join the Professional Services Procurement Office (PSPO) at VDOT and play a key role in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to drive procurement strategies and data-informed decision-making. Procurement domain experience, especially with professional services procurement, is highly preferred.

  • Analyze multi-source data to identify trends and insights

  • Support decision-making with predictive analytics and data mining

  • Develop and implement advanced data pipelines

  • Present actionable recommendations to stakeholders

  • Innovate new ways to utilize procurement data

  • Languages: Python, SQL, PySpark, Shell, PowerShell

  • Visualization: Tableau, Power BI, Looker

  • Big Data & Cloud: Spark, Hive, HDFS, Azure, AWS (Redshift, Athena, Lambda, S3, etc.)

  • Tools: Jupyter, GitHub, SSH, JSON/XML, SQL Workbench
