About the Role:

We are looking for a Value Engineering Consultant who will partner with clients and internal teams to demonstrate, quantify and maximize value of our software solutions. This role requires a blend of business analysis, financial acumen, and pre-sales consulting skills to create compelling value cases, influence decision-makers, and support solution design. The ideal candidate thrives at the intersection of strategy, business outcomes and technology adoption.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct discovery workshops with clients to identify pain points, baseline KPIs, and value levers.
  • Build business cases, ROI models, and TCO analyses to quantify the financial and operational benefits of proposed software solutions.
  • Translate technical capabilities into measurable business outcomes tailored to industry context.
  • Collaborate with sales and solution architects to position value-driven solutions during pre-sales cycles.
  • Create executive-ready presentations and value narratives that resonate with CXOs and business stakeholders.
  • Participate in client demos, proposals, and RFP responses to highlight quantifiable impact and differentiation.
  • Support post-implementation reviews by tracking realized value and validating business outcomes.
  • Develop reusable value frameworks, ROI calculators, and benchmarks to scale value engineering practices.
  • Provide training and guidance to internal teams on value-based selling and business case development.
  • Stay current with industry trends, benchmarks, and best practices in software ROI and digital transformation.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Management, Information Technology, or equivalent.
  • 12-15 in value engineering, business consulting, pre-sales, or business analysis roles within software/IT services.
  • Strong skills in financial modelling, ROI/TCO analysis, and executive storytelling.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to influence senior executives through clear, evidence-backed communication.
  • Good experience in data migration, transformation and integrations across different products and tools
  • Proficiency with tools such as Excel (advanced modelling), PowerPoint, and business case frameworks.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and written communication skills - with the ability to influence both business and technology decisions.
  • Comfortable engaging C-level and senior stakeholders such as CDO/CTO/CMO as a trusted partner.
  • Based in the USA with ability to travel occasionally for key customer meetings.
