Role Overview:

Seeks an experienced Technical Writer to join our Product and Engineering teams. You will develop comprehensive documentation, clear API guides, and engaging support materials to enable clients and partners to successfully leverage our platform.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Developers, and Engineers to understand complex technical concepts and translate them into clear, accurate documentation. Develop and maintain technical documentation including API documentation, developer guides, integration manuals, release notes, and support resources. Ensure content is accessible, consistent, and aligned with Ninth Wave's brand and industry standards. Continuously improve documentation processes and content based on user feedback and data-driven insights. Participate actively in product planning and review meetings to ensure documentation accuracy and completeness.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Technical Writing, English, Communications, Computer Science, or related field.

3+ years of technical writing experience, preferably within fintech, financial services, or related technology fields.

Proven expertise in writing documentation for APIs, software products, or developer-focused platforms. Familiarity with OpenAPI specification, RESTful APIs, JSON, and related technologies. Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills. Experience using modern documentation tools and platforms (e.g., GitHub, Confluence, ReadMe, Swagger).

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

Preferred:

Experience with open banking, fintech integrations, or financial data platforms.

Familiarity with agile methodologies and software development practices.
