Description

SAIC is the premier Joint All Domain Command and Control (JADC2) integrator with expertise in transforming legacy command and control systems into a modern hybrid cloud environment to accelerate decision making and increase mission success. This new program is part of a broader effort to provide a tactical operational picture aligned with the JADC2 and Joint Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) to adapt to new and emerging threats.

SAIC seeks an experienced Solution/Release Train Engineer to support our United States Air customer. The successful candidate will have a clear understanding of Agile Release Train (ART) processes and delivering sound software releases to the customer. This role will be in an exciting, fast paced environment that delivers improved mission critical functionality to our Warfighters.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Gather requirements, plan increments and releases
  • Communication with stake holders, manage risk, monitor project performance, resolve impediments, implement solutions for improvements
  • Track execution of features and capabilities
  • Oversee the establishment of baseline configurations for applications, software, and hardware assets
  • Collects, analyzes and reports metrics for trends, indicators, and readiness

Qualifications

TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's and nine (9) years or more experience; Master's and seven (7) years or more experience; PhD or JD and four (4) years or more experience

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Deep understanding of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) principles, processes, and best practices
  • Exceptional time management skills, with the ability to efficiently prioritize tasks and promptly identify issues requiring discussion
  • Develops technical solutions to complex problems, which require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity
  • Experience identifying, organizing, and coordinating software and hardware configuration changes for version management, system build, backup and recovery, archiving, and change management
  • ship and a DOD Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI

Target salary range: $125,001 - $150,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
