Ideal Candidate Should Have:
5+ years of SAP EWM configuration, implementation, and support experience.
Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA EWM, both embedded and decentralized.
Expertise in inbound, outbound, and internal warehouse processes.
Experience integrating SAP EWM with SAP MM, SD, TM modules.
Knowledge of RF framework, Material Flow System (MFS), and warehouse automation.
SAP EWM certification and experience with SAP Fiori apps are a plus.
Job Description:
Thinking Minds Inc.'s client is seeking a skilled SAP S/4HANA Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) Consultant to join their team. The ideal professional will play a key role in designing, configuring, and optimizing EWM solutions to enhance supply chain and logistics operations.
Responsibilities:
Implement and configure SAP S/4HANA EWM solutions to support warehouse and logistics processes.
Design efficient inbound, outbound, and internal warehouse operations, including goods receipt, picking, packing, and shipping workflows.
Integrate SAP EWM with SAP MM, SD, TM, and related modules for seamless operations.
Customize warehouse management functionalities such as warehouse task creation, storage bin management, slotting, labor management, and RF framework integration.
Lead sessions to gather business requirements, create blueprints, and develop comprehensive solution designs.
Troubleshoot system issues, provide end-user support, develop training materials, and ensure accurate documentation.
Support migrations from SAP WM to EWM and assist with system upgrades.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including logistics, IT, and business operations stakeholders.
Ensure solutions adhere to best practices in warehouse management and supply chain optimization.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP EWM.
Expertise in SAP S/4HANA EWM functionalities, both embedded and decentralized.
Strong skills in warehouse process design, resource management, and RF framework implementation.
Familiarity with SAP Integration methods (IDOCs, RFCs, APIs) and third-party logistics integration.
Prior experience with SAP WM and knowledge of transition strategies to EWM.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with automated warehouse solutions and robotics integration.
Knowledge of SAP Fiori applications related to warehouse management.
Familiarity with cloud-based SAP EWM deployments.
