Data Analyst Snowflake & Python
Fiserv is seeking an experienced Data Analyst to collaborate with our data architects in designing and building machine learning solutions using Python, specifically focused on payments and invoices to predict future cash flow for small and medium businesses. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and experience working with Snowflake to manage and analyze complex data sets.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with data architects to design and implement machine learning models for predicting future cash flow based on historical payments and invoices
- Work closely with teammates building the front and backend of the application to help integrate the machine learning component
- Leverage Snowflake for data storage, integration, and analysis to ensure reliable data pipelines and accessibility for machine learning applications
- Analyze large data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can drive strategic decision-making
- Take end to end ownership of the technical solution and drive quality
- Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to visualize data findings and present actionable insights to stakeholders
- Write clean, efficient Python code for data manipulation and analysis
- Participate in code reviews and collaborate with other team members to ensure adherence to best practices
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously enhance data analysis processes and methodologies
Requirements:
- Bachelor s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in data analysis, with a focus on using Snowflake and Python
- Strong understanding of machine learning concepts and experience implementing machine learning models
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with data query languages
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Experience with data visualization tools to present findings
Nice to Have:
- Experience with payment systems and invoice processing
- Experience with backend development using .NET
- Strong REST API fundamentals
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for data projects
