Job Details

Title: Senior Software Engineer Location: Mountainview CA

MUST HAVE SKILLS:

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement backend services using Kotlin and gRPC for a sophisticated grid planning tool
  • Build complex data pipelines and ingestion systems to handle diverse data sources
  • Develop and maintain PostgreSQL database schemas and queries for optimal performance
  • Create and execute comprehensive test suites to ensure code quality and reliability
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced research and development environment
  • Participate in rapid prototyping and iterative development cycles to quickly validate concept

Requirements:

  • Strong proficiency in Kotlin with experience building production-grade backend services
  • Experience with gRPC, protocol buffers, and API design for distributed systems
  • Familiarity with Bazel build system and modern CI/CD practices
  • Working knowledge of PostgreSQL and database optimization techniques
  • Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform services and infrastructure
  • Proven ability to write comprehensive tests and maintain high code quality standards
  • Excellent communication skills with ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly
