REDCap Configuration Specialist
Description:
6 months. Part time. Remote.
Responsibilities:
- Implement REDCap-based solutions tailored to public health needs
- Address challenges, perform analysis, and develop data management procedures to enhance utilization of REDCap
- Create user interfaces, system/application configuration, system interfaces and database components
- Review and improve system queries to optimize quality assessment and improvement procedures
- Utilize MySQL and PHP to optimize and customize REDCap configurations hosted in-house
- Train and support staff with utilizing REDCap and incorporating it into existing workflows
- Ensure new processes improve program effectiveness and data integrity
- Other duties as required
Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Public Health, or related field
- At least 2 years of experience with advanced REDCap configuration and customization
- At least 2 years of experience in advanced REDCap system functionality
- Experience working with Public Health agencies, clinics, or organizations utilizing REDCAP
- Experience developing and conducting quality assessment/improvement projects
- Experience in database management with MySQL (version 5.5.5) and PHP (7.2.5)
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office management tools, including Excel and Access
- Experience building and optimizing queries using SQL
