Essential Job Functions:
- Receive, inspect and photograph component for as received condition.
- Clean, deburr and prepare the component per work instructions.
- Prepare the sensor for installation.
- Position and verify the dimensional location of the sensor, record and photograph.
- Verify and record the operation of the sensor.
- Route leads for the sensor according to work instructions.
- Terminate the sensor per the work instructions. Verify and record the operation of the sensor.
- Carefully package/deliver component to assembly to customer.
- Installation of instrumentation is performed under engineering guidance with written instructions and explanatory illustrations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Travel Requirements:
Some travel may be required.
Experience and Skills
- Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, or applicable systems.
- Demonstrated ability to work on design and development of engineering tests in a team environment.
- Ability to install at minimum pressures, low and high temperature thermocouples, and low temperature strain gages.
- Advanced instrumentation installation is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
Education and Experience:
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- 5+ years of progressive experience in instrumentation
Work Environment/Physical Requirements:
- Office/Lab Environment.
- Some light physical effort is required.
- May perform occasional lifting of light materials.
- Regularly required to sit, stand, reach, bend and move about the facility.
