TITLE: Senior Project Manager

LOCATION: Hybrid (mostly remote) Tacoma, WA

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: 12 month contract

PAY RANGE: $70-90/hr

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager is responsible for successful delivery of large scale, highly complex healthcare projects and programs with senior-level stakeholders within approved budget, schedule, scope, and quality standards.

The Senior Project Manager oversees a project delivery resources/team to ensure the use of standardized project management methodologies, processes and tools; provides leadership, direction, mentorship; serves as an expert resource; manages the daily activities of assigned projects; identifies potential issues, evaluates solutions and makes recommendations; assesses change requests to determine project impacts; reports overall program status to key project leadership and implements communication plans.

Examples of projects in the backlog that are underway and may be assigned to this resource: Telemetry, Acute Care, Foundational ERAS, Surgical Services, DKA, Acute Care, CHF, Pulse, Peds Acute Asthma, Peds Spec, Induction Management Women s Services, OP Peds Depression Screening, Peds Primary Care, Agitation Recognition & Mgmt, ED, Stroke, Neuro, CABG, Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome NICU, ICU Temp Management CC, Colorectal ERAS Surg Svcs, Glycemic Management, Adult Depression Screening, Primary Care, Acute Care Peds

 

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum seven (7) years of project management experience
  • Experience in a healthcare setting, or a combination of relevant experience, leadership skills, healthcare experience, and project management expertise leading complex organization-level initiatives.
  • Bachelor s in Business Administration or a related field; Master s Degree preferred
  • Strong communication skills, as the role involves contacting Port Agents globally.
  • Proficiency in Excel, with intermediate to advanced skills.
  • Organized and detail-oriented approach to data coordination.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently in a remote setting.

 

BONUS QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred
  • Availability to start immediately.
