To be a successful SAP Supply Chain Consultant you will embody GBSI's core employee characteristics of being passionate about IT, taking full ownership of your work & having a growth mindset. Additionally, you will exhibit strategic vision, thoughtful engagement, strong analytical/process skills, a bias for action, and the ability to partner with senior operational leaders.
Seeking a Senior SAP Supply Chain Consultant who is expected to engage in project-based work with a focus on delivering world-class solutions based on SAP ECC or SAP S/4 HANA ERP platform.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct requirement gathering sessions, gap-fit analysis and document functional specifications.
- Implement and configure SAP Supply chain modules (order management, inventory management, Warehouse management, logistics, demand and supply planning) according to business requirements.
- Collaborate with on-site and offshore build teams to develop technical design specifications and build customizations (RICEF) to address gaps.
- Work with IT and business SME to build test scenarios, set up test data, including master data and support execution of test scripts for SIT and UAT.
- Create training documentation and help with train-the-trainers and end-users.
- Work closely with deployment, basis, and security teams to set up role and transport changes across the landscape.
- Collaborate with IT and business teams for cut-over and data migration activities to help support go-live readiness.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP supply chain modules post go-live and during Hyper care.
- Collaborate with other SAP consultants to integrate SD, MM, IM, WM and PP with other SAP modules that include FI, CO, PM and QM.
Experience:
- At least 12-15 years of hands-on experience working as an SAP supply chain (order management, logistics, supply and demand planning) implementation consultant.
- In depth knowledge of SAP supply chain modules and integration with other modules within SAP.
- At a minimum, 5 full life-cycle end-to-end SAP ERP (ECC or SAP S/4 HANA) implementation experience.
- Good understanding of supply chain business processes that includes order management, materials management, inventory management, warehouse management, logistics, demand and supply planning processes.
- Knowledge and experience working with Europe VAT, GDPR and Euro Currency is highly desirable.
- In depth experience working with SAP ERP applications covering order-to-cash (OTC), procure-to-pay (PTP), Supply chain management (SCM), make-to-ship (MTS) and record-to-report (RTR) business processes.
- Experience working within CPG, Food, Pharma and manufacturing industry is highly desirable.
- Proficiency with ASAP (Accelerated SAP) Waterfall and Agile methodologies preferred
- Excellent communication with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a team and handle multiple tasks in a global delivery model.
- Bachelor s or master s degree in Sales, finance, supply chain, IT, or related field is desirable.
