The Purpose of Your Role
Lead Database Administration will function as an Oracle DBA, participating in multiple projects and support of database systems. This will be a very hands-on role requiring Oracle expertise with problem analysis and resolution, and significant interactions with database development and support teams. 12 x 7 oncall for Production support, database maintenance, patching and upgrades is expected on a rotational basis.

The Skills that are Key to this role
Administration of Oracle 19c RAC/Standalone Databases on Linux.
Good understanding of database concepts, architecture and best practices.
Proficient in tuning SQL queries and resolving database Performance issues.
Good if you have database developer experience (PL/SQL) or Development DBA experience.
Administration of Snowflake environments, manage roles and maintain security best practices.
Analyze and optimize performance of Snowflake databases.
Good hands on knowledge in AWS services like RDS, EC2, and S3 etc
Experience in AWS is must and good to have AWS certification.
Knowledge of open source RDBMS/no SQL Databases is a big plus
Automation skills using Shell Scripting or Python or any other scripting
Knowledge on CI/CD process using tools like jenkins/concourse etc
