Job Title: Dev Sec Ops Engineer (AWS Cloud)
Location: Boston, MA- Onsite (Only local candidates)
Employment Type: Contract
We are seeking a skilled Dev Sec Ops Engineer (AWS Cloud) to join our team in Boston, MA. The ideal candidate will serve as a key link between software development and IT operations, driving automation, security, and reliability across our cloud-based systems. This is an onsite contract role for candidates with strong experience in DevOps, cloud platforms, and security practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Deploy, configure, and monitor cloud resources (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
- Set up monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK stack).
- Develop automation scripts using Python, Bash, PowerShell, or Go.
- Support application delivery, troubleshoot issues, and optimize infrastructure.
- Manage configurations with Chef, Puppet, Ansible, or SaltStack.
- Embed security best practices within pipelines and infrastructure.
- Perform routine upgrades, patching, and system maintenance.
- Maintain clear documentation of processes and workflows.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor s in CS, IT, Engineering, or equivalent.
- 3 5 years of experience in DevOps/Site Reliability Engineering.
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Python, Bash, Go, PowerShell).
- Hands-on with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform).
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD workflows, containers (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS).
- Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible.
- Knowledge of network fundamentals, DevOps security, and compliance.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
