Application Deployment Engineer 100% Remote
Job Description:
Required Skill(s):
- Experience: 4 to 5 years in large-scale application/package deployment
- Tools: Hands-on with MSI and App-V; familiarity with Numecent (Cloudpaging) preferred
- Frameworks: Experience using in-house enterprise deployment frameworks
- SQL: Understanding of databases and triggers (advantage)
- Scale: Comfort deploying to 100,000+ users and ~20,000 physical machines; high-volume releases (over a million release upgrades annually)
- SOPs: Ability to follow standardized operating procedures for global deployments
- Quality: Experience running inventory validation and deployment reporting checks
- Troubleshooting: Support queue handling, root-cause analysis, documentation
- Time zones: Ability to work in UK/Swiss hours
- Collaboration: Comfortable working with small US team and partners in Europe/India
- Communication: Clear, proactive; willing to speak up on risks and issues
- Mindset: Detail-oriented, quality-focused, adaptable to evolving in-house tools
