Job Title: Solution Architect / Platform Architect Data Platforms
Location: Dallas, TX (Onsite)
Employment Type: Contract

Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect / Platform Architect with deep expertise in data platforms, data engineering, cloud-native architectures, and large-scale distributed systems. The ideal candidate will lead the design and modernization of enterprise data platforms, ensuring scalability, security, and performance for data-intensive applications.

Required Skills:
10+ years of experience in software architecture and data platform engineering.
Strong expertise in cloud platforms (AWS preferred; Azure/Google Cloud Platform also acceptable).
Deep experience with data engineering frameworks (Spark, Kafka, Airflow, Flink, Databricks, EMR, Glue).
Hands-on experience with building and optimizing data lakes, lakehouse, and MPP systems (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).
Strong understanding of distributed systems, storage optimization, and data modeling.
Expertise in API design, microservices, and integration frameworks.
Experience with DevOps and MLOps tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Terraform, Kubernetes).
Solid programming skills in Python, Java, or Scala.
Experience with observability tools (CloudWatch, ELK, OTel, Splunk, Datadog).
Strong knowledge of security, IAM, networking, encryption, and compliance frameworks.
