A top Fortune 50 financial institution in Pensacola, FL is currently seeking a Desktop Support Technician to join their team. This role will focus on providing hands-on technical support for end-users, ensuring reliable system performance, and delivering an excellent customer service experience.


About the Opportunity:




  • On-site: Pensacola, FL




  • Shift: Monday-Friday




  • Schedule: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (local time)




  • Hours: 40 per week




  • Setting: Corporate office environment




Responsibilities:
The Desktop Support Technician will be responsible for:




  • Providing desktop support for end-users, including hardware, software, and peripherals




  • Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Windows 11 operating systems




  • Setting up and maintaining laptops, desktops, printers, and related equipment




  • Assisting with basic networking issues (LAN/WAN, connectivity, VPN)




  • Delivering outstanding customer service to resolve technical issues in a timely manner




Qualifications:




  • Experience working independently and collaboratively in a team environment




  • Strong customer service and communication skills




  • Hands-on experience with hardware/equipment setup and support




  • Windows 11 OS troubleshooting and support experience




  • Basic networking knowledge




Desired Skills:




  • Security+ certification, IT-related degree, or equivalent professional experience




  • Printer server management experience




  • ServiceNow ticketing system experience




  • Office 365 and Microsoft Teams support experience
