The Planet Group is hiring a Workday HCM / HRIS Administrator. This is a Direct Hire / Perm role with our client in the Miami, FL area (onsite is required).

Our client is seeking a highly motivated Workday HCM / HRIS Administrator (Sr. Business Analyst) to join our HR Technology team. The ideal candidate will have 3 5 years of hands-on experience in Workday administration, with in-depth knowledge across key functional areas including Core HCM, Payroll, Time Tracking, Absence, Security, and Reporting.

This is a strategic support role designed for a collaborative, detail-oriented, and proactive team member who will partner closely with HR, Payroll, and IT stakeholders to ensure seamless Workday functionality and user experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a core Workday administrator within the HR Technology team, supporting and optimizing configuration across Workday modules.
  • Partner with HR and Payroll to troubleshoot and resolve system issues in areas such as Core HCM, Absence, Time Tracking, and Payroll.
  • Maintain user roles and security groups, ensuring appropriate data access and compliance.
  • Develop and maintain custom and standard Workday reports and dashboards.
  • Support change requests, testing, and deployment of Workday enhancements and new features.
  • Conduct root-cause analysis on system errors and work with vendors or internal resources to resolve issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, analyze business needs, and provide configuration solutions within Workday.
  • Document processes, workflows, and configuration logic as part of knowledge sharing and team support.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3 5 years of hands-on Workday administration experience with a strong focus on Core HCM, Payroll, Time Tracking, Absence, Security, and Reporting.
  • Prior experience working on Workday implementations or major releases.
  • Familiarity with integrations and EIBs is a bonus.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve system issues independently.
  • Experience with Workday report writing and calculated fields.
  • Knowledge of business process configuration and security administration.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
