Java Spring Boot CI/CD Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:

REQUIREMENTS:
* Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 2+ years applied experience
* Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
* Experience in Java and well versed in Spring Boot, Microservices patterns, event based architecture
* Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages (Java, ReactJS) and database querying languages
* Demonstrable ability to code in one or more languages
* Well versed in both RDBMS and NoSQL
* Experience with micro services and Test Driven Development architecture
* Experience across the whole Software Development Life Cycle
* Hands-on experience in one or more AWS servcies specifically ECS/EKS, Lambda, MSK, SNS, API Gateway, Step functions, storage services
* Exposure to agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security

Preferred:
* Practical cloud native experience, AWS is preferred
* Exposure to Behavior driven development using Cucumber
* Exposure to micro frontend UI using technologies like ReactJS, Node.js, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
* Hands-on experience designing and developing highly scalable, highly resilient, low latency, self-monitored applications

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
