Location: Remote for FL, TX, WA, GA,and MN candidates
Duration: 12 Month Initial Contract
Compensation: $70-75/hr

We are looking for a Senior iOS / React Native Full Stack Engineer to join our mobile development team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining high-quality mobile applications that deliver outstanding user experiences. You will work primarily with Swift for native iOS development, while also leveraging React Native to support cross-platform initiatives. We are looking for a Senior iOS / React Native Full Stack Engineer to join our mobile development team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining high-quality mobile applications that deliver outstanding user experiences. You will work primarily with Swift for native iOS development, while also leveraging React Native to support cross-platform initiatives. This role demands deep technical expertise, a strong product sense, and the ability to lead by example through collaboration and high standards of code quality.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of native iOS applications using Swift.
- Build and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define, design, and ship new features.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications through rigorous testing and code reviews.
- Architect and build modular, reusable components for mobile applications.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Integrate mobile applications with cloud services and APIs.
- Stay current with the latest mobile development trends, techniques, and best practices.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership within the mobile team.
- You deliver high-quality, performant native iOS and cross-platform applications that delight users and meet business objectives.
- You write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, setting a strong example for the team.
- You effectively balance the demands of native and React Native development, making smart technical decisions that optimize for scalability, maintainability, and user experience.
- You actively mentor and support other engineers, helping to raise the overall technical bar of the mobile team.
- You consistently contribute to architecture discussions and technical strategy, advocating for best practices in mobile development.
- You proactively identify technical debt and areas for improvement and lead efforts to address them.
- You stay ahead of industry trends, bringing forward new ideas, frameworks, and tools to keep our mobile apps cutting-edge.
- You take ownership of features from conception to production release and beyond, ensuring a high-quality user experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- A strong portfolio of mobile applications available in the App Store is a plus.
- 5+ years of professional experience building and maintaining native iOS applications.
- Strong proficiency in Swift and the iOS SDK.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience developing applications with React Native.
- Deep understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and best practices.
- Experience working with RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and cloud services (e.g., AWS, Firebase).
- Strong knowledge of mobile architecture patterns such as MVVM, VIPER, or Clean Architecture.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for mobile app deployment.
- Excellent debugging and performance tuning skills for both iOS and React Native apps.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Experience with Objective-C in legacy applications.
- Familiarity with Android development and the Android SDK.
- Knowledge of GraphQL and WebSocket integrations.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., XCTest, Detox, Jest).
- Familiarity with App Store submission process and deployment best practices.
- Build products that reach thousands (or millions) of users daily.
